Lamb Rack

$107 3-3.5 LBS / Ships Frozen

This Easter, we’ve partnered with Freedom Run Farm based in Kentucky. Their Appalachian heritage sheep are 100% pasture-raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and finished with a proprietary blend of high-quality roughage, minerals, select grain and distiller’s stillage, for the optimal health of the animal. This also results in a well-marbled, tender cut, with a milder (and less gamy) flavor.

Ready to hear the crowd go wild? This classic cut is something so special it’s been known to create one of those food memories you walk away from unable to stop drooling over.

The Rack of Lamb comes from the loin. The loin is at the top of the animal’s back, near the head. This cut is nice and tender; one rack can easily become an elegant meal for two.

This is the good stuff! Season with salt and pepper. Slather with olive oil and place in hot pan. You want to make sure you get out the best flavor so make sure to cook on all sides, over high heat for a very short period of time, 3-5 minutes per side. Once done, place skin side down in the hot oven for 7-8 minutes. Always allow the meat to rest before serving and enjoy.

Not just a piece of meat

Great flavor starts in the field. At Porter Road, we partner with farmers who raise their animals on pasture, for a difference you can taste.
