You don’t have to travel to Germany to have an incredible Bratwurst. This sausage is the true summertime, grill-out sausage. One bite, and you’ll want to fire up the grill whatever time of year it is. These links are made with pasture-raised pork and fresh fresh ingredients like eggs and fresh cream, and are seasoned with white pepper, nutmeg, and ginger. Fluffy, rich, mild, and flavorful, this sausage has it all. These links have a natural casing so we advise starting them over low heat before searing, to reduce the risk of bursting.
Our sausages are made with carefully selected trim from the entire hog. We only put lean meat and back fat into our sausages, making sure to trim out all the undesirable bits (ahem, unlike some other links out there). We season them with a custom blend of herbs, spices, and fresh ingredients to give them great texture and deep flavor. All of our sausages are made with natural casings, which give the final products a snappy bite. Ingredients: Pork, salt, white pepper, ground ginger, nutmeg, eggs, cream, pork casing.
We always suggest starting our sausages on low heat, then crisping them up at the end. The indirect cooking method will prevent the natural casing from exploding and drying out your sausage. Bratwurst also braise really well in beer. Fill up a pot with beer, bring to a simmer and cook until the Brats float. Once they're cooked, char them up in a skillet or on the grill. This is a great way to feed a crowd, you can keep the sausages in a warm beer bath until people are ready to eat, then just char them on the grill.
