The smash burger blend is a twist on our classic dry aged ground beef. This blend has a slightly higher fat content designed to soften the meat for optimal smooshing, then render on your cooking surface for the classic smash burger crisp your heart desires. This is the result of a little experiment we've been running on behalf of one of our restaurant partners. Let us know what you think of this 70/30 blend!

Our burger is a whole-animal grind, which means we can use more of the animal and serve you a more honest value. It’s the quality of our beef paired with the fat ratio and dry aging that makes our burger so damn flavorful.
The key to a great smash burger is simple - find something with a large flat surface (like a grill press or small skillet) to smash the burger patty onto a hot griddle or skillet. Once the crispy surface forms, flip to finish cooking, and add cheese if desired. This technique creates a thinner, crispy burger that maximizes the flavor from the Maillard reaction.
