Questions? We've Got Answers
How is Porter Road different from other meat delivery services?
We dry-age all our beef (90% of retail beef is wet-aged), hand-cut every piece in our Kentucky facility, and source exclusively from small US farms. No factory farms, no machines, no fillers. Just real meat from real butchers who care about quality.
Is the quality really that different?
Yes. Dry-aging concentrates flavor and tenderizes the meat in a way wet-aging simply can't. Our animals are pasture-raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and every cut is hand-cut by skilled butchers — not processed on an assembly line. The difference is something you can taste in every bite.
Can I customize my subscription?
Absolutely. With our Build Your Own Box, you pick every cut that goes in your shipment. Choose your delivery frequency — every 2, 4, or 8 weeks — and adjust your selections anytime. Skip a delivery or cancel whenever you want. You're always in control.
How does shipping work?
We offer flat-rate shipping on orders $150 and over. Your meat is packed fresh and shipped in insulated packaging with ice packs to ensure it arrives at your door in perfect condition, ready to cook or freeze.
What if I don't like a cut?
We stand behind every cut we sell. If you're ever unhappy with a product, reach out to our team and we'll make it right. We're confident that once you taste the difference, you won't want to go back — but we've got you covered either way.
Do I have to subscribe?
Nope. You can shop all our cuts a la carte anytime, no subscription required. But if you want to save 15% on every order and have your favorites delivered on your schedule, our subscription boxes are the way to go.
