Hot Italian Sausage
All the flavor of our Sweet Italian Sausage, plus a little bit of heat from red pepper flakes and cayenne. Use this sausage for a quick batch of our 9 O’clock Italian Pasta This sausage is made with pasture-raised pork from pigs that have had the freedom and opportunity to use their muscles in the woods, the meat develops a deep, incredible flavor. We simply grind and add spices for an incredibly flavorful sausage without any fillers or flavor additives.
Our sausages are made with carefully selected trim from the entire hog. We only put lean meat and back fat into our sausages, making sure to trim out all the undesirable bits (ahem, unlike some other links out there). We season them, then add ingredients like basil, oregano, garlic, and fennel to give it that great texture and flavor. Like all our sausages we use a natural casing to finish off that crisp, hearty bite. Ingredients: Pork, salt, sugar, fennel seed, coriander, paprika, oregano, basil, black pepper.
The easiest way to cook loose sausage is to crumble it up into a hot pan and cook on high until golden brown. The pairing possibilities are endless.
